How to Send Files to a Printer

This is one of our most frequently asked questions, and one we love to answer. First, because we use CMYK, or four-color processing, the files we need have certain requirements. Second, because CMKY printing is different than RGB displays, print files that display clearly on the web may not look like as crisp in print. In other words, the right file type is very important. Here are a few guidelines:

•    We accept Publisher files, but there is a certain way to package the files to send them. Call us, and we can walk you through the process.
•    We can always print from a *.pdf document.
•    Ideally, we want image files that are 100% sized and at least 300 dpi (dots per inch).
•    Logos can be tricky. For printing purposes, we need high resolution files, not the low resolution that you can use for the web.

If you still have questions, please call us at 253-852-6020. We are here to make this process simple and easy-to-follow!
